This is the site of Las Capas in what is now my hometown, Tucson. Well, it's sort of in Tucson, a little northwest, but close enough, right? I don't want to go into detail about what's in this site because I'll just mix it up from what I was told. I tend to do that. The Pima Archaeology Club took a trip to this site about a week or so ago to check it out. Those are the Tucson Mountains in the background. The sad thing about this place is that it's right next to the I-10, which means some of the site is lost forever underneath all of that concrete and asphalt. *sigh*

Nothing really happened in class between Cody and myself. It was lame and our teacher is a hard-ass. So much that he won't even let me put his name on my blog. Whatever, his loss. My website is way cooler than his lame three hour class.

It was super windy in Tucson today. These chimes in my backyard were outta control! It was so windy, in fact, that it was prime for kite flying! There's this pirana kite at the toy store that would have looked awesome in the sky. It's way vicious. It has angry eyebrows and blood on the tip of his tooth. If only...

On another note....

It's spring in Tucson! And it's beautiful!!! My strawberries are almost ready to be picked and I'll post photos of those very soon! Yum!

I have a habit of writing notes on my hands all of the time. It's probably not good for my skin, which I tried to capture. I have such dry hands and it shows. I was writing a note about a book I needed to pick up today for a late start Anthropology class I'm taking. Actually, its with Cody, so I'm really excited. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to sit with him at first or pretend like I don't know him and then viciously start making out with him. I feel the latter is a bit much, but I'm kinda wondering what people would do. Eh, we'll see.

I'll post what happens.
Hehe.
These cutesy fish are located in my cousin Barbie's resturant, Bumsteads, on 4th Avenue. This photo was not taken by me. It was shot by Cody and he really wanted me to post it...so here it is! This weekend was the 4th Avenue Street Fair, which happens a few times a year in Tucson. It's usually the same stuff and the same people selling the same stuff, year after year. So, after a while, it gets dull, especially when you are broke. Although, this year, I bought a sun dress. Woo hoo for me!
